Craterville

Welcome to Craterville! You are at the vanguard of a new horizon in exploration and resource acquisition, helping to overcome the resource drought that has plagued our universe for too long. Dimensional fracturing has given us access to unlimited resources in an infinite number of dimensions. Your job as a Crater Administrator is to build and manage a base in the crater left by the fracturing process. It’s from here that you will complete the objectives necessary to fulfil your assignment.

 Building A Team

A successful administrator will need a capable fighting force. Hire the finest units and outfit them with armour and weapons from the shops and crafters that you build in your crater. Improve their performance in dedicated training buildings. Construct shuttles and crew them with your units, then send them out on missions in the lands beyond the crater. If they are successful, they will return with items and loot from their fallen enemies. Build habitats for them to live in and medical structures to heal them.

Gather Resources

An administrator shouldn’t overlook the resources available in their crater. Destroyed buildings, tectusite crystals and other structures can be scavenged for resources using M.A.R.G.E.s (Mobile Automated Resource Gathering Equipment). Construct laboratories so that your scientists can conduct experiments in the crater, producing rare and interesting items.

Making Progress

Objective givers will provide direction for your efforts. Rewards could include credits, reputation or even new and more powerful weapons for your units. They’ll also provide information to help you uncover the mysteries surrounding the dimension you are in and more importantly, who (or what) you may be sharing it with!

Keeping Things Tidy

You’ll need somewhere to keep the resources and items that you collect. Build storage units to help you organize everything so that you can find things when you need them.

Protecting Your Investment

Protect your hub! The fracture hub at the centre of your crater is the link between our dimension and yours, and it must be protected at all costs. Build turrets to keep away the entities that will want to leech its energy, causing it to collapse and end your campaign.
