About the Game

Coup de Grass is an incremental resource-management game about turning a tiny, hand-cut grass field into a sprawling automated industry.

It all started with a bizarre mutation...

A strange new species of grass has been discovered: fast-growing, incredibly resilient, and useful far beyond what anyone imagined. What began as a scientific curiosity quickly became the foundation of a new industry.

This unusual variety can be harvested at scale, processed into fuel, converted into power, used in construction, and refined into valuable products. Before the global rush begins, you are one of the first people trying to build a business around it.

Start with a small field and simple tools. Cut grass by hand, sell your harvest, invest in upgrades, hire workers, construct buildings, and discover just how far this strange new resource can be pushed.

Game loop and features:

  • Start small: begin with a humble sickle, a small field, and a lot of grass to cut.

  • Harvest, haul, sell, upgrade: cut grass, carry it to storage, sell it, then reinvest your profits into faster and more efficient production.

  • Hire workers: every task (such as cutting, hauling, manufacturing, researching) can be automated, putting you into a managerial role.

  • Manage real production flow: watch for travel routes, storage limits, resource bottlenecks, and cut out any inefficiencies as your business grows.

  • Construct buildings: buildings unlock new resources, mechanics, upgrades, and production chains to expand your grass empire.

  • Play active when you want to: bonus tasks and mini-games let you boost production manually while your automated, idle systems keep running in the background.

  • Move into new fields: reset your progress for permanent upgrades, then start again on a new field with its own theme, goal, and gameplay twist.

  • Explore varied levels: each field offers different mechanics and rewards you with extra prestige points for completing its objective.
