About the Game

 Build together. Fall together. Unless...

Counterweight is a social deduction game where the deception is physical. Your team has one job: stack blocks and raise a tower to the target height. But one of you is the Saboteur, placing blocks just badly enough, nudging at the worst moment, and eliminating other players.

Every fallen block brings the whole team closer to losing. Every fallen block is also a clue.

  How it works

  • Take your turn. Grab a block from the quarry, carry it up, and place it wherever you dare: clean and boring, or bold and risky.

  • Watch everyone. Who re-rolls their blocks? Who's always nearby when something falls ? Who's been holding that tribute all game ? And who's making players disappear one by one...?

  • Accuse. Put a suspect to sleep and call a vote. Guess right and the tower is safe. Guess wrong and you've kicked a friend for nothing. The Saboteur thanks you.

An arsenal of beautiful bad ideas

Items spawn across the island all match long: jetpacks, sleep darts, butter, cages, smoke bombs, a gun that shouldn't exist in a building game... and a hidden kit of Saboteur-only tools that the rest of the team can't even see. No two rounds play out the same.

  The Tribute Altar

The builders' insurance policy : gather tributes, place them on the altar, and forge the Impostor Detector. One scan, one truth. The Saboteur can stall it by hoarding a tribute... if they're willing to be seen holding it.

  Death is not the end

Kicked out or killed? You return as a Phantom, free to float around and watch the chaos you can no longer prevent with other phantoms.
