Contra Spem Spero (Latin for 'Against all hope, I hope') is a narrative-driven horror experience that blends text-based exploration, immersive visual novel storytelling, survival elements, and puzzle-solving.
Your car breaks down in the middle of a deserted road. Having no time to waste, you decide to continue on foot, grabbing only your journal and camera. Yet imperceptibly, the asphalt turns into soil, and you find yourself trapped in the endless night of a forest filled with things you cannot explain.. And terrifying creatures that were once human. They speak to you through the photos you take.
