About the Game

Command Doctrine is a turn-based tactical wargame built around endless generated battles.

Describe the battle you want: an ancient siege, a Cold War armored clash, a desperate last stand in a ruined city. The game builds the map, armies, objectives and briefing around your prompt. Describe a war instead, and it generates a branching campaign of linked battles with its own story and objectives.

Every battle can be something you have never played before.

Tell the game what kind of fight you want and Command Doctrine creates the scenario around it: terrain, forces, objectives and briefing. Want more than a single engagement? Generate a whole campaign, then push through a branching map of connected battles where your choices shape the war.

Give orders by hand, or tell your troops what to do in plain language. Say where to move, what to attack, what to avoid, or what to hold back from. The game turns your intent into battlefield actions.

Fight with thirteen unit types across seven eras, from spears to hovertanks. Infantry, tanks, artillery, anti-tank teams, engineers, radar, special forces, aircraft and more all have roles that matter. Veterans gain experience, improve in quality, and earn traits that shape how they fight.

Spend your resources on an arsenal of battlefield abilities. Call in airstrikes, artillery barrages and cluster bombs. Keep your troops in the fight with supply and equipment drops. Cripple the enemy with sabotage, radar jamming and electronic warfare, or push your own forces harder with forced marches.
