About the Game

Story

The age of space colonialism is in full bloom. Imperial wars are being fought over solar systems. A 13-year war has depleted many of the resources in the colonies of the colonial power Teracom. You just wanted something to eat... And then Teracom soldiers catch you right at the time when the war finally ends. You are put on a ship and sent to one of the new planets Teracom aquired in the war - to colonize it in their name and supress any resistance. But as soon as you land, something goes wrong and you find your fellow prisoner-friends dead. When you call for help, the only answer is: You have not finished your mission.

Survival

In order to survive on this wild planet, you have to keep an eye on your hunger, your thirst - and of course on the flora and fauna living on this planet. There are alien plants everywhere that could help you, but also dangers lurking in this beautiful world. Teracom has given you a small guide on what creatures you can expect. Prepare to meet the Graber, the Cloudstriker and the Syntala.

The Locals

The Locals on this planet call themselves "The Shiva". Teracom warned you not to interact or communicate with them in any way. They mostly use primitive weapons, but also many different toxins and other plant and animal-based weapons. They are one with the world and the world is one with them. Most animals will behave different when around the locals. But are they really that dangerous? Maybe you could still find a way to trade and help each other out. But I don’t think that Teracom will be pleased by your actions...

Build and Craft

In Colonterra, you have the possibility to build bases and craft advanced technologies or biological wonders. Your suit has an inbuild Atom Transmitter, in short AT, that can construct whatever you want - as long as you unlock the code it needs to build a certain piece. Build structures, weapons, tasty meals - whatever you can think of - as long as you have the resources.

Predators

The biomes you venture through on your journey on this planet seem so beautiful and free, but on closer inspection, you’ll notice that these lands are plagued by predators. Dangerous, wild and uncontrollable animals that destroy wildlife and hunt down the Inhabitants of this Planet. Killing them might be the key to new areas and resources. This world, the locals and The Company might thank you.

The Ancients

The more you venture into these lands, the more you notice the tracks of another civilization. Very old and possibly also very advanced. You find tracks of a powerful energy source in those artifacts. But where is this source? Does it even exist? Does this civilization still exist anywhere? Some of these questions might be answered by reaching this very odd-looking tower in the distance, but the road could be long.

You decide

A big decision lies ahead. The more you get to know the local planet and its inhabitants, the more you start to see what Teracom really is and does. Do you want to stay a colonist, or be the frontier of a free world, out of reach of the claws of imperialism? Its your decision alone...
