Three thousand years of longing, one thousand livers devoured—
yet instead of ascending as an immortal, the nine-tailed fox Kim Samwol awakens as a human.

Drifting into the modern city, she is rescued by café owner Park Jongman and begins working at his small café. But when she discovers that Jongman is destined with the “King’s Fortune,” she must choose:
