About the Game

Code Cross is a nonogram immersive game that features the following modes:

Story

Welcome to the Code, a place where some mysterious panels called Mirrors are quintessential for the creatures that inhabit it, as they are links to a different locations, called Instances. The Code is suspected infinite by the otoyo, an advanced race of cephalopods that has claimed various Instances for themselves, calling those places "Paradise", strategically spreading around to investigate the home they always been exposed to, but that guards so many secrets.

One day, a little otoyo from one of these Paradises appears lost during their coming of age ritual. You just found him while he was floating in the Veil wishing for help. Together, you travel through the Mirrors, trying to find the little one's home.

Infinite

In Infinite mode you will meet the Oracle Fi, supervisor of a work chain in charge of defragmenting the Mirrors, affected by the inherent Chaos of the Code and which put at risk the integrity of reality as they inhabitants know it.

The Oracle will give you Offerings that will alter the way you can play, with certain improvements or even disadvantages chosen randomly and through factors derived from your way of playing, mainly because the Essence, an energy present in all living creatures that alters the perception of whoever is exposed to it.

Creator

A simple editor that allows you to draw on a pixel art grid a playable Mirror. Other players could play your published Mirrors asynchronously at certain points in Story Mode.

You can export your images as PNG in a folder of your choice.
