Classy Train

Classy Train is a classic style 2D platformer, where the goal is to get from one station to the other, while avoiding runaway trains and other obstacles. Music has been composed and performed by myself on piano in a jazzy style to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Pixel art was also custom created.

About the Game

Classy Train is a classic style 2D platformer, where the goal is to get from one station to the other, while avoiding runaway trains and other obstacles. Music has been composed and performed by myself on piano in a jazzy style to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere. Pixel art has also been custom created by myself, in a retro platformer style.

Features:

Player (Train)
-Control and drive your train
-Jump, boost & air dash
-Collect coal to power boosts and air dashes
-Collect coins to earn an extra life

Enemies
-You can take out runaway enemy trains by launching other train cars into them
-Crashing into an enemy will cause the player to take damage and lose health, losing all health will result in the player losing a life

Included enemies are:
-Enemy Runaway trains
-Enemy Hot air balloons

Time tracking
-Best time recorded for each level
-Successfully complete a line (a set of 4 tracks) to unlock the next group of levels
