Choice OR is an AVG (adventure game visual novel) that presents a thrilling fusion of exploration, strategy, and rich storytelling through different worlds. You, a young inhabitant of one of the doomsday bunkers in which humanity now resides, are chosen by the [System]. Rise to the challenge, for if you fail, the [System] shall re-purpose you for sustenance as a makeshift protein source... Select one of the women before you to join you as you form a [Doomsday Duo], and travel together between your reality, and a virtual ancient realm. Prepare yourself for a heart-pounding trial that shall seal your fate.

In the post-apocalyptic world of today, humanity has retreated underground into sprawling bunkers. Resources dwindle and life is a daily struggle. Thus, a young group is selected and locked within a villa by the bunker's all-powerful AI: the [System]. For here, they shall undergo brutal trials to decide who passes on the Flame of Humanity.

Those selected must travel into an ancient Eastern world of cultivation, and pass a series of challenges. Only then shall they prove to the [System] and their partner that they are truly capable of saving mankind, and averting its impending doom. Those not selected and those who fail shall share the same chilling fate: they shall be repurposed, their proteins used to fuel the underground world. Resources are scarce, and mercy is scarcer.

If you, Contestant 009, are to succeed... then you must choose one from among the women selected by the [System]. Win her trust, stand as her partner, and pass on the Flame of Humanity... Achieve that, and you shall ascend to the surface together, carving a new path of hope for all mankind.

Step foot in a virtual Eastern land, in which a dynasty trembles on the edge of collapse, and mysterious cultivation practices abound. Terrible, demonic beings run rampant beyond the city walls. Yet equally terrifying are the noble cultivator clans, and the hedonistic aristocracy that has fallen from grace. Like in reality, humanity's end looms in this place. Underworld beings descend upon mankind, ruthlessly slaying all like a blight upon the earth.

As you set foot in this strange world, choose your identity: either a [Royal] or an [Exile], each unfolding into gripping tales of cause and effect. Perhaps you'll opt be a noble heir, hunted down as the last of your line. Despite all odds, you must gather your troops and rise to take the throne. Or perhaps, you'll fight as a man fallen from grace and exiled amid the demonic siege. Turn the tide, defend the city, and experience the rush of rescuing civilization from certain doom.

A riveting narrative unfolds as you proceed through unknown lands—as it twists and turns, you'll also have to explore as much as you can before time runs out. Plan out where you'll go, and what you'll do. Collect materials, sharpen your skills, and complete quests. Will you talk your way out of danger in the face of fearsome foes and strife? Or will you win through sheer force in battle, or even charm your way to victory with magical artifacts? There are always many different ways to approach each event.

Live through deadly struggles, and you may obtain such mighty artifacts. Moreover, they—and their incredible powers—can return with you to reality, back in the underground bunker! Use them to gain lofty [System] privileges, unlocking hidden content and learning the ladies' deepest secrets.

You're not in the clear just by completing a quest in this other space, however: on return you'll be up against a fearsome Trust Assessment. They'll be casting votes, and your life hangs in the balance. Build your relationships and bonds during free time in the villa. Or else, you may never live to see the end of this story...
