About the Game

Choose Your Hero

Chest & Blade is a dark fantasy idle RPG about gearing up and breaking through the wall in front of you. Create a character, pick a class, set how they look, and send them out.
  • Warrior — steady damage and the biggest health pool. The forgiving start.
  • Mage — fragile early on, but Intelligence scaling turns good gear into serious damage.
  • Barbarian — slow, heavy swings. Strong when the numbers line up, punishing when they do not.
Every class has its own skill list and its own stat scaling, so a second character is a different run rather than the same one again.

Fight, Loot, Forge

Combat runs by itself. Your hero clears a stage, moves to the next one, and casts equipped active skills as they come off cooldown. You are not clicking every hit — you are deciding what to change when a stage stops going down.
  • Each act ends with a boss that gates the way forward.
  • Loot Chests, Treasure Chests and Dragon Chests drop gear from Common all the way up to Mythic.
  • Offline progress keeps collecting rewards while the game is closed, up to an 8-hour cap.

Hunt for Better Gear

Most of the game sits in what you equip. Rarity does not only raise the numbers — it decides how many affixes an item rolls, so two legendary swords can point at two completely different builds.
  • Weapons are class-bound; armor and accessories are open to any hero.
  • Affixes roll from stat families in fixed tiers: damage, crit, attack speed, health, gold and drop rate, and more.
  • Salvage what you do not need, combine three items of the same rarity into one of the next, craft from recipes, and reroll affixes when a piece is almost right.
  • Slot upgrades are permanent. The plus sits on the equipment slot instead of the item, so it survives every gear swap.

Shape Your Build

  • Skills — spend skill points across your class tree of passives, actives and an ultimate. Equipped actives fire automatically in combat, by priority.
  • Runes — a wide board of long-term bonuses across several branches, funded mostly with gold, so farming always has somewhere to go.
  • Augments — every few levels you draft one of three cards, which makes a level-up a decision instead of an automatic stat bump.

Keep Growing

  • Daily and weekly quests hand you short goals to clear next to whatever stage you are pushing.
  • Tiered achievements track the long haul: kills, chests opened, rarities found.
  • Clear the final act and Heroic opens up — the same world on a much harder curve, with your progress intact.
Fight, loot, forge, adjust, push one act further. If you like idle games where the screen keeps working but the build still matters, that is the loop Chest & Blade is built around.
