But when his obsession turned tyrannical, Caïssa crafted a rosewood chess set and used it to kill him. Before dying, Ares cursed her and her eight disciples with a growing lust for power.

Now, to end the curse and save Chaelor from chaos, one must defeat Caïssa herself in a true match, a feat no mortal has ever achieved.

The Check-Mate Variant

Long ago, enchanted by Caïssa’s game creation, Ares surrounded himself with the eight most brilliant and gorgeous nymphs from across the realms. His thirst for power and pleasure inspired a twist on the rules.
He called it “Check-Mate.”

In this variant, captured pieces strip your opponent of more than just points. Each match features a four-stage undressing system. Your opponent’s sprite changes at 4, 10, and 16 capture points - giving players an early tease, a smooth progression, and full nudity by the late game or after major captures like the queen.

+ Every victory then ends with a special fullscreen H-scene sequence (4 renders), bringing the match to its climax.
