About the Game

Chards is a strategic card game where you play chess with cards. Although this is a card game, this game has basically 0 RNG mechanic. The focus is on strategic thinking and planning.

Extra pieces that aren’t part of standard chess are introduced into the game, you can get them by using card effect or promoting. Use these cards and pieces to craft your own strategy and defeat your opponent.

Basic Rules

  • You start with every card in your main deck already in hand

  • Each turn you may make a move and play a card

  • Your hand is visible to your opponent

  • You draw a card every second draw phases

  • You draw card from your discard pile

  • You can have up to 8 cards in your main deck, up to 5 pieces in your extra deck
