About the Game

In Chaos Cities your playstyle directly influences the environment and people of your world. Coal plants speed up climate change, unhappy people will protest and underpaying critical infrastructure might lead to critical failures. Of course, the choice is yours, will you create a utopia with only the best technologies and happiest people or will you create your own dystopian society?

To keep your citizens happy and satisfied you need to provide the basic amenities like food, water and energy. Depending on how you want to rule your world you can also improve their education and add fun places like parks and playgrounds to make everyday life a little less mundane.

Or just do something else and feel the consequences of dead people stapling on the sides of the roads, citizens rioting or even total annihilation of your city.

Coal plants might be the cheapest option but looking at your island through smog might not be the prettiest. But that won't matter either way if the resulting rising water levels consume your island.
Oh you want to keep your citizens uneducated so they don't turn on you? Well good luck running a nuclear plant then. But whats the worst that could happen?

Research new ways of creating energy, transportation or even laws to change your peoples lifes for the better or worse.
Researching new fields will strongly depend on your citizens intelligence and your willingness to invest in research instead of spending it on your island or the 500th puppy statue.
