The year is 2167. The world lies in digital ruins. Central banks turned into hash farms. Nations replaced by protocols. You are a forgotten node — a Node Runner, half human, half interface. You awaken in an isolated mining zone, guided by a voice in your head:
"Reconstruct the truth. Rebuild the chain. Take control of the network."

Chained Future isn't about mindless clicking. Your gear, drops, tree layers, and forks all shape long-term progression.

🔸 Deep idle & prestige systems:
Even while offline, your rig generates resources — but only if you’ve managed energy and storage wisely. Optimize your mining and economy through decisions that matter.

🔸 Gear that matters:
24 gear slots, set bonuses, rarity from Common to Relic, with every item affecting your character — nothing collects dust.

🔸 Steam Marketplace integration:
All items from Epic rarity onward are tradeable, each with a unique ID, drop number, and visible ownership history. Designed for collectors and traders alike.

🔸 Dystopian sci-fi lore & factions:
Uncover the story of the “Great Disconnect”. Align with or oppose:

  • 🧠 Consensus Protocol (religious mining AI cult)

  • 🐍 Forkborn (data mutations)

  • 💼 SyndiKey (token mafias)

  • 🛰️ Relic Hunters (neutral, greedy, unpredictable)
