About the Game

What if you could hit a golf ball so hard it went into orbit?

Now you can find out. In Celestial Golf, you will learn the techniques used in real space flight to get your ball through a wild golf course throughout the solar system, and beyond.

Celestial Golf is designed to teach actual orbital mechanics in a simplified 2D environment. An intuitive planning interface allows you to visualize the trajectory of the ball and develop a real understanding of how gravity affects planets and spacecraft in space.

Set in our solar system, with planet bodies created from real terrain data, gain an appreciation of the many celestial sights out in the cosmos, from afar, and up close, as you bounce the ball over the mountains of Mars, and through the rings of Saturn.

With a hand-made selection of short missions, you’ll journey from the relative comfort of the lunar surface and the Earth, to the surface of the sun, and out into interstellar space. Every hole is designed to introduce a new concept or mechanic, so there is no grinding or repetition, no running out of fuel or resources, just one short, sweet ride.
