CDL for a UFO

Play as a starship captain who is woefully unqualified for the job. With an unfamiliar control panel in front of you, all 45 keys of your keyboard are randomized at the start of every attempt. Guide your ship through a variety of obstacles in an attempt to make it to your destination in one piece.

About the Game

During a routine space trip, you are suddenly awoken by the ship's computer system and informed that the staff is unresponsive.  It is now up to you, a random unqualified passenger, to pilot a ship full of your fellow innocent passengers to safety.

Fully randomized control keys

In order to accurately simulate the experience of an inexperienced pilot, your entire keyboard is randomized at the start of each run.  Every key has a unique function on the ship, and it is up to you to re-learn how to pilot it each time.

Not every button is worth pressing

Some control keys are necessary, others are helpful, the rest are not.

Control all 6 degrees of freedom

Each randomized set of controls is guaranteed to contain a full set of 6DOF movement options, giving you precise and responsive control if you can remember the keybinds.

Each level presents a new challenge

The ship's automated systems can only do so much, and will awaken you each time your piloting expertise is needed.  You will traverse a small handful of levels, each building on the last while adding new systems, obstacles, and controls for you to learn.
