About the Game

Aliens have come to The Planet! Help Kitsy Katsy survive the tides of oncoming otherworldly enemies to harvest, recruit, build, upgrade, and craft the way to victory! Hmm? What's that? Was that name picked by a toddler or something? Why yes! Yes it was. Thanks for noticing! And you can expect plenty more exquisitely high-quality content like that to come.

With a bizarre smushing together of two very different genres, Cats vs. Aliens lets you enjoy the cozy game loops of farm sims and base builders alongside the dodge-and-pray combat of bullet heaven roguelites. Create a lovely little home to chill in, then take to the diverse biomes of The Planet to gather rare resources to help help you create a better home to let you gather more resources to help you create a better home, to help you.... you get it.

Gather items while dodging enemies that are flying at you from all directions. Survive long enough to get back to safety and get crafting, baby! Use your gathered resources to craft upgrades for your next excursion, or stockpile them to upgrade your home base.

With combat and levelling inspired by roguelite and survivorslike titles, you can create new builds every time you leave your base.  Grow your powers, expand you collection of upgrades, and find the most game-breaking builds fathomable!

Kitsy Katsy isn't alone! Explore the world to find and recruit the many lovingly crafted playable characters that each bring their own exciting unlockable something or other to the game.  Play as any character you unlock!

Visit a weirdly wonderful world where characters are cute, the dialogue is punny (and ridiculous at times - I just can't help myself), and the environment is lovingly hand-crafted by me, Echo in a Void! My brain's always been a funky place to live, and now you can come along for a peculiar journey through some of my favorite parts of it!  It's a truly unique experience that you won't find anywhere else.  At least until I make another game.  I'll probably have to change this description at that point.
