About the Game

Buster Ocean is a breakneck island-hopping action roguelite where enemies come back stronger after killing you.

Wield your trusty anchor in fast paced combat, pile on hats and accessories to gain weird powers, and hunt down bounties before they become a bigger problem.

Returning bounties

Buster isn't the only one trying to become the strongest. When an enemy defeats you they can return in future runs as a bounty. They'll come back stronger, sometimes carrying stolen flares of their own, and they'll remember what happened last time.

Hunt them down and take revenge... or let them kill you again and make the problem worse.

Anchor Fighting

Swing Buster's trusty anchor and smash through an abundance of enemies in fast paced crunchy combat. Dodge attacks and roll your way through the chaos.

Weird and Powerful Flares

Flares don't just give you weird powers, they also make you look FABULOUS. Pile on accessories, hats, and knickknacks taken from enemies and hidden treasure, and create powerful, sometimes questionable builds through their synergies.

Big Bad Bosses

Take on a roster of big bad bosses guarding the isles and standing in your way to become the strongest.

Your Little Raft

When you're defeated, wake up at Guv's Dock, spend your gold, pick up new parts, and outfit your lil' raft before shipping out again.

Guv and His Guvernment

The ever watching Guvernment keeps track of everything, gold earned, power gained, and who's on top. Pay your taxes... or receive your Guv mandated punishment.
