About the Game

BugLab isnโ€™t just another simulation game โ€” itโ€™s a laboratory and production management experience where tiny creatures fuel a growing business.

What begins with a single terrarium gradually develops into an interconnected production system. Raise, feed, collect, and sell different insect species, each with their own requirements and economic value. Manage your colonies, monitor production, fulfil customer offers, and make strategic decisions as your laboratory expands.

Your work goes far beyond insects. Grow tomatoes, wheat, cabbage, and carrots on farm plots, raise chickens to produce eggs, manage beehives to collect honey, and process harvested resources into insect feed using specialized machines. Use collected ingredients in cooking recipes or sell your products to customers.

Build and organize your environment using a flexible placement system. Purchase new equipment, reposition placed objects, expand your production areas, and optimize the layout of your laboratory and farm.

As your operation grows, you can hire workers to support different parts of your business. Assign cashiers to sales booths, manage worker morale and responsibilities, and use automation systems to reduce repetitive work.

Research plays an important role in progression. Complete research projects to unlock new insect species and receive customer offers related to the species you have discovered. Upgrade terrariums, beehives, production machines, and other systems to increase efficiency and expand your capabilities.
