Broken Tide

Your best friend is dead, and something made you do it. Now you fish a broken sea, drafting your path piece by piece in waters that never form the same way twice. Haul in your catch. Upgrade your boat. Return before dark. The sea forgets nothing. Neither should you.

About the Game

Broken Tide is a narrative fishing adventure where the sea is assembled tile by tile from a shifting deck of possibilities. Plot your course across the changing tides. Some paths are rich with fish. Others hold something you weren't looking for.

Each day, the sea is drafted from a different set of tiles. Land, islands, lighthouses, wrecks, and things that shouldn't be there. You choose what lies ahead, but you can never predict the sea. Go further for greater rewards. Just make sure you're back before dark.

Your radio is always with you. Other fishers guide you, warn you, betray you. You decide what to believe. Just don't listen to the whispers of the water.

Back on land, sell your catch, upgrade your boat, and prepare for the next day. Better gear lets you push further into waters most have learned to avoid. The harbour feels quieter each time you return.

Only you know what happened the day your best friend died - the day something got hold of you. With each day at sea, you piece together a mystery you may not want to solve.

  • Draft the Sea: Assemble your route from a shifting deck of sea tiles. No two journeys are the same

  • Fish & Salvage: Haul in catches, salvage wrecks, and discover things that don't belong in these waters

  • Upgrade Your Boat: Improve your boat to reach further, stay longer, and survive what's out there

  • Stay Connected: Listen to other fishers over radio. Until they go silent

  • Uncover the Truth: Piece together a story-driven mystery across multiple days at sea

  • Full Controller Support
