About the Game

Brass Rebellion is an action-arcade, wave-based FPS designed around the use of traps to defeat as many automatons as possible.

You are the only surviving engineer within the heart of the automaton production line. One thing is certain: you will not survive. How many automatons will you take down with you?

Your environment is your weapon

  • Trigger traps with your weapon, the Riveter, and annihilate automatons with a satisfying crunch!

  • Unlock gates and head deeper into the factory.   

  • 7 unique traps to discover.

Manage your supply of steam

  • Steam is your ammo and regenerates over time.

  • Damage is dire! The more damage you take, the less steam you generate.

  • Replenish your steam using stations within the factory.

Battle the hoard, reap the reward

  • 3 unique automaton types to conquer. 

  • Pick up powerups that drop from destroyed automatons.

  • Achieve high scores by surviving waves and defeating automatons.

  • Challenge friends! High scores are saved and displayed in the main menu.

Currencies & crafting

  • Collect scrap and blueprints from destroying automatons and completing waves.

  • Use the workbench to create useful items and repair your durability.

 

About the developers

Brass Rebellion is the result of 8 months of planning and production by the 3rd year students attending Niagara College for the Game Development program. Every asset seen within was created from scratch by these students, including scripts, models, textures, and ideas.
