About the Game

The heroes get the songs. You get the ledger.

In Bramblewick, you don’t play the legendary hero. You run the guild that sends them into danger.

Recruit adventurers, negotiate their contracts, equip them, train them, and decide who can be trusted with each job. Send your parties out to fight monsters, explore forgotten places, escort travelers, recover lost treasures—or take on the kind of work respectable guilds would rather not discuss.

Then wait by the fire and see who comes home.

Build Your Guild

Every adventurer has their own stats, traits, abilities, and personality. Some are brave. Some are greedy. Some become inseparable friends. Others can barely share a table without starting an argument.

Choose from ten classes, each with two distinct specializations that change how an adventurer fights and supports the party. Build an unbreakable defensive group, overwhelm enemies with raw damage, keep everyone alive through powerful healing, or experiment with unusual combinations of your own.

A talented adventurer can win battles—but that doesn’t mean they will remain loyal to your guild.

Every Quest Becomes a Story

Quests are more than timers. They unfold as complete journeys shaped by preparation, combat, chance, and the decisions you make along the way.

Your party might be ambushed by bandits, forced across a crumbling bridge, presented with an unexpected opportunity, or watch a perfect plan fall apart because of one catastrophic roll. When the expedition ends, the mission journal records everything that happened.

Victories, injuries, lucky escapes, and terrible mistakes all become part of your guild’s history.

Your Adventurers Remember

The people in your hall are more than numbers on a character sheet.

An adventurer who nearly dies on a mission may carry that experience home. The companion who dragged them to safety could become a friend for life. A humiliating failure might create resentment, while an impossible victory becomes a story the guild retells for years.

Friendships, rivalries, loyalty, and shared memories grow from what your adventurers experience together. Your guild’s history isn’t buried in a menu—it lives in the people walking through its halls.

Decide What Your Banner Stands For

On the road, your parties will encounter choices that only you, the Guild Master, can make.

Help someone in need even when there is nothing to gain. Take the profitable job despite its consequences. Show mercy, demand payment, or decide that your guild’s survival matters more than doing the honorable thing.

Your choices shape your guild’s morality and the reputation of its banner. A guild known for compassion will attract different respect than one feared for its cruelty—but your adventurers have beliefs of their own. Some will be proud of the path you choose. Others may begin to question whether they still belong at your side.

Every decision leaves a mark on the guild you are building.

Run the Hall They Call Home

While your parties risk their lives in the wider world, the guild hall has a life of its own.

Manage the guild chest, host visitors, plan raids, deal with neighboring factions, and give wounded adventurers time to recover. Keep your tavern running by serving patrons drinks and hot meals. Work the farm, fish the nearby waters, and process what you gather into the food and supplies your hall depends on.

As day turns to night, your adventurers train, drink, heal, argue, and remember everything that brought them there.

You can give them equipment. You can give them orders. You can even give them a place to call home.

But loyalty has to be earned.

Anyone can hire a hero. A Guild Master earns their loyalty.
