Bot Hunter is a fast-paced roguelite shooter with unique modular weapon system.
Explore the galaxy as a bold bounty hunter and use color theory to effectively eliminate your targets. Choose from a variety of job offers on different planets. Scavenge items to craft powerful weapons.
Don’t let luck decide on your success - make the mechanics work on your advantage!

The color of your weapon is not only an aesthetic choice. Learning how to effectively apply color theory lets you deal the greatest damage possible.
Your weapons come in 3 primary colors: cyan, magenta and yellow. So does the enemy armor. Adjust the color of your bullets to the opponent's armor to break through their defences.
Some enemies will try to outsmart you by having armor in one of the secondary colors: red, blue or green. Send them a bullet in one of the primary colors their armor color is made of to put them in their place.

Your weapon is everything. How powerful you are depends solely on it. You do not level up. If you want to improve, craft better gear with items and recipes you collect during missions.
Each weapon is made of 5 modules:

Mind your surroundings as you traverse enemy ships. In some rooms you can find Panels that you can plug into. This gives you access to Hacks. Choose the one that best suits your playstyle and make your bot unstoppable.

Picking a fair deal from a bunch of offers is also a skill of a kind. Each one will take you to a procedurally generated enemy ship making each hunt a different experience. Chase enemies through 5 different planets with their own themes.

Bot Hunter is a passion project made by gamedev duo (coder + artist). Feel free to contact us and share your opinions, ideas, and criticisms. Your feedback is precious to us as it helps us make Bot Hunter as fun as possible.

Each weapon is made of 5 modules:
- Coolers - which define max heat before weapon will overheat
- Triggers - that define how your input is handled
- Barrels - which define how projectiles fly out from the weapon
- Magazines - that define what type of projectile the weapon will shoot
- LightCells - which give your weapon’s projectiles a color
