Built for developers using Codex

bossMAN is designed for people who already use, or plan to use, OpenAI's Codex.

Important requirement: bossMAN requires a separately installed and authenticated Codex CLI app. The Steam purchase includes the bossMAN desktop application only.

It does not include ChatGPT, Codex, Codex CLI, OpenAI API access, AI usage credits, local LLM runtimes, downloadable model weights, or third-party service subscriptions.

To use Codex-based workflows, you must install Codex CLI separately and sign in with your own eligible ChatGPT/OpenAI account. Codex availability, plan requirements, rate limits, pricing, and account terms are controlled by OpenAI and may change independently of bossMAN.

bossMAN will never ask for or store your ChatGPT password, OpenAI account password, Steam password, payment card information, or third-party service credentials. Authentication must happen through the supported backend's own official authentication flow or through a user-configured local endpoint/API-key flow where applicable.

AI output and automation notice

bossMAN may display, organize, summarize, route, and, under user-configured permissions, help apply AI-generated development output from user-configured backends such as Codex.

AI-generated plans, summaries, code, commands, reviews, and project recommendations may be incomplete, incorrect, unsafe, unsuitable for your project, or incompatible with your licenses and obligations. Review all AI-generated output before using, applying, committing, shipping, or publishing it.

bossMAN is intended for software-development workflow management. Project automation is designed around user-selected project folders, visible activity logs, and approval gates for sensitive actions such as command execution, file modification, file deletion, dependency installation, repository-wide edits, SSH/local machine access, or access to credential-like files.

Do not grant bossMAN, Codex, or any connected AI backend access to projects, systems, credentials, or repositories unless you are authorized to do so and understand the risks of AI-assisted automation.

bossMAN is an independently developed desktop workflow tool distributed through Steam. It is not developed by, endorsed by, sponsored by, certified by, or officially supported by OpenAI, Valve, or Steam.
