About the Game

Think you’re a movie buff?

Boring Movies dares you to prove it... with a twist! Get ready to turn the most exciting films into the most yawn-worthy descriptions and challenge your friends to guess which cinematic masterpiece you're describing - without putting them to sleep!

How it Works:

Gather up to 3 friends, choose a movie, and describe it in the most mundane, painfully dull way you can. Can they see through your boring disguise, or will your “thrilling” description of “Guy goes on a walk and drops a ring in a fire” stump them?

Can you name what movies are being described?

  • Guy finds a ring and his nephew returns it to the factory.

  • Old lady tells a story about a boat on a different boat.

  • Man turns off alarm clock 3176 times.

Whether you’re the kind of friend who calls The Matrix “a guy does VR” or describes Jaws as “big fish causes beach problems,” Boring Movies is your chance to take movie nights to the next level of hilarity. Think you’re up for the challenge?

Unleash your inner boremaster and let the guessing games begin!
