About the Game

Battle your friends in this exciting PvP sudoku showdown! Run around nature-themed puzzle boards while avoiding dangerous pencil projectiles, making good use of power-ups, and, most importantly, fill in the missing digits faster than your opponent. Do you have what it takes to become a champion in bōnin?

Features:

  • Battle your friends (or foes)! In this PvP sudoku game both players run across the same puzzle board in real-time trying to be the first one the fill in the missing digits. The game can be played both online and locally on the same device.

  • Play on nature-themed sudoku boards. Choose if you want to play in the cozy meadows or on the relaxing beach. You can also choose between three difficulties to customize your experience.

  • Deal with different types of terrain as the weather changes. Rain turns dirt patches into mud pools which are difficult to traverse, while cold weather turns water into slippery ice.

  • Avoid projectiles and use power-ups. During a sudoku showdown pencil-shaped projectiles will rain down from the sky. It is a good idea to avoid these projectiles. The game also features several power-ups. Pick these up and make good use of your temporal advantage.

  • Fully customizable controls. Switch up how to move and how to fill in the missing digits. Separate control schemes are available for online play and for local play, where a single keyboard is shared.

  • In-game statistics. Keep track of how many digits you have correctly filled in, which board is your most-played and more.
