Blunted in the Malen is a 2.5D card game set in the early days of the Steampunk era, exploring themes of upper-lower city divides, corruption, resistance, and the limits of humanity. It offers a deep narrative filled with conflicts and choices.
Born in the lower city, Simon is a visionary young man. He dreams of earning an honest place in the upper city through his inventions and fighting for his people through official means. However, his life and dreams are turned upside down when he meets a mysterious girl named Lynda.
The Malen region is divided into upper and lower cities, where discrimination runs rampant. The lower city is under the sway of crime lords, while the upper city views the lower residents as nothing more than cattle to milk. Meanwhile, those in the lower city are busy tearing each other apart. In the end, the only winners are the crime lords and the wealthy of the upper city. Breaking this cycle is in your hands, but you can't please everyone. Whose side will you take?
Blunted in the Malen brings morally gray stories to life with cinematic storytelling and a unique card battle system for players to explore.
"Alright, you want to fight, I get that. But how far will you go? Who will you sacrifice? Which ones have you decided to bury?"
