About the Game

Bloomsome is a Make-over Puzzle Game that reflects upon unfair beauty standards through shaping botanical characters.

In the dystopian and dark prologue chapters, as employed by the Beauty Company, player need to follow social media trends to fulfill client's celebrity dreams. In these chapters, player witness the transformative stories between floral clients Meadow and her daughter Mossy.

Meadow has been craving for love from butterfly, so she visited the beauty company several times, to get a makeover by following the popular celebrity trends of the web, so as to attract butterflies' attention.

When Mossy was born, Meadow also brings her in to have a makeover, to help her become pretty and be loved. But Mossy, as a rebellious one, refuse to be transformed and eventually work together with player to undertake an attack to the Beauty Company.

In these prologue chapters, by the rule of the Beauty Company, player need to use all kinds of tools to shape the body of floral characters, to fit in with the shape boundary and meet criterion to mimic celebrity looks. 

Breaking away from the Beauty Company, Mossy and Meadow decided to open their own nature beauty shop. Their philosophy is to identify the natural beauty from unique clients and strengthen their functions to help clients live a healthier and authentic life.  They aim to provide ASMR soothing experience during the makeover to heal client's heart and soul.

What is the meaning of beauty and who should be defining that? Running a natural beauty shop along the way, Meadow and Mossy gradually understands the power of self-validation for unique ones and pursuits of diversified perspectives. And they will for sure share it along with the floral community to Bloom Some together :)
