BLIMPS is a top-down, multi-vehicular sandbox RPG and roguelite "escape room" built for solo captains and local couch co-op duos.

The surface world is running out of resources. Your ultimate objective is simple but monumental: find a way to escape it. To survive, you must master a steep learning curve, piece together a massive mechanical puzzle, and optimize your strategy across multiple play sessions. Every time you leave your Hangar, you lose power, pollution clouds are spreading, and rival pirate blimps keep multiplying across the sky. Time is ticking. Can you solve the world of Blimps before you are completely overwhelmed?

THE THREE PHASES OF THE SKY

Your journey to escape is broken into a dynamic, shifting campaign where every second matters (10 real-world seconds equals 15 minutes of game time):

* The Opening Game: The Billionaire Space Race (Days 1–3): Race against ruthless corporate competitors—Space Y, Nile X, and Sir Space—to reach the Moon. Recruit 10 VIP crew members and secure 10 golden cargo crates to launch a rocket to the Moon (and maybe even a hidden silo to Mars) to locate the mythical Moon Crystal. Secure first place within 3 game days to claim the massive $1,000,000 reward!

* The Middle Game: The Sandbox Expansion: With the timed race settled, the world expands into a massive building and survival playground. Establish solar and fusion towns, fight to become the King of the Seven Kingdoms, and take on arcade mini-games to boost your ultimate score.

* The End Game: The Earth Drill Escape: Use the Moon Crystal to power your massive Earth Drill beneath your Hangar. Educate and train your crew, power up and board your drill, and plunge to the center of the Earth paradise before the surface collapses.

DYNAMIC ELEMENTAL WARFARE & ARCADE MINI-GAMES

Break away from the hangar and cockpit to complete tasks that grant game-changing score bonuses, gold, and ship upgrades:

* Tactical Dogfights: Engage rivals in fast-paced twin-stick shooting or close-quarters, elemental "Rock-Paper-Scissors" combat (Water douses Fire, Fire melts Ice, Ice freezes Water).

* 4-Floor Dungeon Crawl: Descend in a mini Earth Drill to blast flames with water bullets, mine gold with your shovel plow, and defeat Shiska Bob—a giant flame boss guarding the resources that can upgrade your Blimp's size and specs.

* Side-Scrolling Side View Gauntlet: Jump and shoot through a 2D platformer highway. Pop hot-air balloons to steal gold bars, shoot down cyberplane minions, and battle The Dogcatcher—a pirate blimp captained by a barking dog.

* 2D Top-Down Cyberpunk Motorcycle Race: Switch gears entirely and drop onto a neon-drenched track. Race solo or with a partner through a dark cyberpunk setting to gather 8 glowing crystals. Deposit them into 8 active turret towers to win 8 precious gemstones, then secure them at the Gemstone Greenhouse to claim your race winnings!

* Multi-Vehicular Mastery: Take control of deep-sea submarines, earth-drilling machines, hot-air balloons, motorcycles, slingshots, and a funicular!

 A REPLAYABLE, HARDCORE ROGUELITE PUZZLE

Blimps does not hold your hand. It is a deep, intricate system designed for multiple runs. While a perfect first-time escape is possible for the most meticulous captains, true mastery comes from learning what to do, when to do it, and how to optimize your route.

* Use your in-game Captain's Log to track complex missions and the H.E.L.P. Computer for game advice.

* Finish the entire gauntlet in under 60 minutes without using console cheat codes to secure an ultimate high-score bonus!
