Explore

Carve your own path through open-world Ancient Ireland by unveiling its mystical land as you travel. Stumble upon settlements, enemies, bosses, quests, and points of interest.

Discover recreations of historic sites as they might have looked 2,000 years ago, such as Newgrange, Rathcrogan and the Hill of Tara.

Follow the main quests, chase side quests, or ignore it all and explore the land at your leisure.

Discover Irish Mythology

The ancient Irish gods are known as the Tuatha Dé. Be careful who you side with, and who you stand against.

Discover quests inspired by Irish mythology, such as the Children of Lir, An Táin Bó Cúailnge (The Cattle Raid of Cooley), and Aisling Óengus (The Dream of Aengus).

Story

You play as one of the legendary Tuatha Dé, a race of immortal beings who rule Tír na nÓg - The Land of the Young. You have been banished from this land and cursed with mortality, with your hound as your only companion. Will you embrace mortality and the earthly humans or will you fight to return to your immortal home alongside your siblings? Find your place... before you lose yourself.

Connection to the Land

The Art of Bibdu has all been painted by hand, based on real life sites around Ireland. The watercolour scenes are accompanied by real soundscapes recorded around the country. The animals and plants in Bibdu are all native to Ancient Ireland.
