Before the Silence is a turn-based tactical strategy where you lead the Counter Disinformation Command, defending your nation and its citizens in the midst of an unfolding information war.
You operate from a central command panel — managing resources, monitoring threats, and neutralizing terrorist influence. One of your most important tools is intelligence analysis: review documents and media sources to detect disinformation and prevent its effects. Each paragraph could be truthful - or it could belong to one of several disinfo types. Be vigilant!
Your mission: restore order by reestablishing control over the information network and regaining influence across all regions of the country.
You act for the state… or for the people… or perhaps for no one at all.

The game takes place in an alternate future, in a newly formed European country.
In 2056, a terrorist threat emerges within what remains of a democratic system, sparking an information war. A powerful group seizes control of media, spreads propaganda, and rewrites reality through a new order.
