Knock your friends off the table as battling beetles in a fast 1–8 player ring-out party game. Easy to learn, chaotic to watch, and built for instant rematches.
Beetle Sumo is a party game based on the Japanese festival game of Kabutomushi Sumo” (カブトムシ相撲) often translated as Japanese rhinoceros beetle sumo.
In Japan, kids (and hobbyists) will pit kabutomushi (rhinoceros beetles) or stag beetles (kuwagata) against each other in a small arena, where they:
Lock horns (literally)
Try to push the other beetle off a platform
“Win” by knocking the opponent out of the ring — just like sumo
Play with 1-8 players in a competitive fast-paced ring-out sumo game where the goal is always to be the last beetle standing!
