About the Game

Bedtime Stories is a 2D platformer where you herd monsters as the heroes in a fairytale world of the bedtime stories told by two struggling parents.

Carefree Combat with No Death Penalty

There is no death penalty, and only a cool-down for healing. All the enemies will knock you back, but they can all be defeated by one hit.

Try to finish the level as quickly as you can! Or just go through the level slowly to soak in the beautifully hand-drawn environments.

The Story

Three parallel timelines unfold as each parent takes turns telling their tales, reflecting their journey to reconcile their cultural differences.

Herd Fantastical Creatures and Return them to their Realm!

Fantastical creatures inspired by traditional Indonesian theatre puppet shows, as well as Cantonese theatre puppet shows, are lurking in every corner!

Make Allies Along the Way

A friend in need is a friend indeed! The allies will fight along with you and increase your stats!

Follow along as the young family overcomes minor frustrations that arise from parenting differences, and celebrates common ground and everyday kindness across cultures.
