About the Game

BAD DOGS is a high-octane, choice-driven cyberpunk arcade mosaic that blends 80s vector-grid mechanics with a modern neon-noir comic aesthetic. The city is a digital cage ruled by the all-seeing Syndicate. Behind the wheel of a high-speed cyber-vehicle, tear through 10 heavily guarded city sectors to reclaim the streets... or sell them out.

Whether you're hunting phantom signals, chasing global leaderboard glory, or just zoning out on a glowing wireframe highway, the grid is yours.

THREE MAIN MODES

  • STORY MODE (Cyber Highway & City Hack): Navigate an immersive, branching narrative centered around The Pink Car—a phantom vehicle encrypted obituaries claim was vaporized two years ago. Choose your faction, tackle high-stakes checkpoints, hack through tactical roadblock minigames, and decide the fate of the city at the Syndicate Core: Believe in the revolution, or Deny your network for corporate immunity.

  • RACING MODE (OutRun-Style Chase): Pure, subterranean time-attack adrenaline. Rocket through abandoned subway grids, master high/low manual gear shifting, draft tight traffic lines to charge high-risk turbo boosts, and outrun the Syndicate’s relentless agent: The Enforcer.

  • ARCADE MODE (Endless Hub): Step into a limitless, escalating hub of rule-breaking minigames. Smash through firewalls in tactical Brick-Breaker events, weave through heavy artillery in Sewer Shooters, dodge diving drones in Galaga-style scrambles, and clear spatial grid locks.

CHILL VECTOR CRUISING

Not every run needs to be a pulse-pounding chase. Need to decompress? BAD DOGS doubles as a chill cyberpunk sanctuary. Drop the pressure, dial into the retro-futuristic atmosphere, and spend a few minutes just cruising down our matrix/vector highways—enjoying the aesthetic flow, vector geometry, and the rhythm of the open road.

LOCAL & INTERNATIONAL LEADERBOARDS

Test your skill on your own terms across all three game modes:

  • Local Leaderboards: Track your personal bests and race against your own ghosts on your local machine.

  • Global Leaderboards: Sync directly with Steam servers to put your high scores and sector lap times on the line against drivers worldwide.

GAME FEATURES

  • Neo-Noir Comic Visuals: A crisp fusion of classic early-era 3D vector graphics and high-contrast comic-book character design.

  • Branching Sci-Fi Narrative: Every checkpoint presents high-stakes infiltration choices, radically shifting your route, allies, and briefings.

  • Four Faction Destinies: Align with the Red Crow (Rebellion), Yellow Sparrow (Ecology), Blue Seagull (Exodus), or Green Mantis (Oblivion).

  • Dynamic Retro Roadblocks: Action smoothly seamlessly blends high-speed vector driving with modern reinterpretations of classic arcade mechanics (Arkanoid, Galaga, Tempest).

  • Mighty Chip-Prog Soundtrack: Powered by an original score composed by Jørn Lavoll (Teslagrad 2), combining authentic hardware sounds from the Atari ST (YM2149) and Commodore 64 (SID) with heavy, modern orchestral production.
