Backstabbing King is a strategy game based around the rules of chess, where you must kill your own pieces at night to ensure that only the two kings remain on the board.

Backstabbing King is a much expanded and improved upon version of the top 200 ranked game I made for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam. It features 26 unique levels, 5 new mechanics, and a compelling story.
