About the Game

october 9, 1992
5:12 Am
Riendfield, Massachusetts
Halley Henson, a rookie FBI agent, is heading to the town of Rindfield where horrific crimes have occurred. Flooded by a mysterious and ancient malevolent power, she will soon discover that survival will be the only way, facing a horror believed to have been long forgotten. Will you be able to follow in her footsteps? Another reality awaits you in BACKGROUND BELLS.

What can you expect from Background Bells? You will find a third-person action adventure, with fixed camera angles and hand-drawn environments that will remind you of classic late '90s survival horror games in 32 or 128 bits. With a terrifying sound design that will transport you to the streets of a small town on the American East Coast.

Choose between "tank" or "free" control type for movement. Use auto-aim to make your shots more precise during intense combat, dodge enemy attacks, and perform precise tackles to avoid zombie onslaughts.

Explore the locations where this terrifying story unfolds, find maps to navigate, key items, and clues that you can store in your inventory for use in unsuspected places, and above all, unravel the mysteries hidden in the origin of horror through the various documents you will find along your way.
