About the Game

Aura can move and jump in an isometric hand-draw videogame, but her main ability consists of solving programming problems, by writing codes and commands.

Imagine a world where programming is like magic: every command is a spell, and you gain more powers learning codes that allow you to explore further.  As you master these abilities, you'll help other creatures throughout your adventure and restore the glitched ecosystems back to their natural beauty

At its core, Aura Adventure combines platforming and exploring with many programming puzzles. You'll discover ancient discs containing fragments of powerful commands, explore libraries filled with educational books, and meet colorful and strange characters who offer coding challenges in exchange for rewards, and many, many more.

As you progress through the four kingdoms of Maia, you'll use an integrated terminal and code editor to interact with real programming concepts.

This way, by thinking and reading and writing you will have the most important tools to advance in the story. There are no levels or XP; in this videogame you make real progress by learning, and thus you can enjoy all the possibilities the more you know!

This game blends exploration with real learning to such an extent that we believe nothing like this has ever tried. In this videogame, you learn real programming with real syntax, so if you spend hours playing with it, you will learn naturally how to create web apps that could be exported to any modern platform such as web, mobile and desktop apps.

You could even make your own applications to help you in the game, like radars to explore, notebooks to paint and draw, and whatever you think you will need, or want to make, during your adventure.

And to help you learn real code as you play, the game mechanics of Aura Adventure provide you with codes and commands that are integrated in the story, making it easy to digest the knowledge bit by bit.
