About the Game

A game for anyone who wants to learn a language easily and with fun!

Welcome to an educational game where you learn foreign words while helping a family find lost items, choose groceries, and make sense of the chaos of home and everyday life — all with the gentle humor of a mom who knows where absolutely everything is.

🎯 What kind of game is this

Ask Mom is a combination of:

  • hidden object searching (hidden object),

  • learning words in a foreign language with voice acting,

  • short story scenes and dialogues in the player’s native language (or in the language you’re learning for a more advanced level).

It’s perfect if you want to learn without boring drills — through everyday situations, emotions, and relatable family moments.

🧩 How it works

  • You see a word in the language you’re learning

  • You find the matching object in the picture

  • You listen to the pronunciation and remember it in context

  • You progress through little stories about family life

The word sets are varied: it’s not only about finding lost items, but also lots of words for different everyday situations:
What should you take from the fridge for breakfast? What do you need to pack for school? What do you need for a picnic?

🌍 A multicultural family

This family is an incredible blend of several nationalities. Words from different cultures appear naturally in the game: household items, holidays, food, habits.

Why you should add it to your wishlist

  • light, natural vocabulary learning;

  • short levels, great for daily practice;

  • humor and a cozy family atmosphere;

  • progress feels fast — words stick on their own;

  • high-quality word voice acting;

  • regular updates with new scenes and word sets are planned.

💛 Add Ask Mom to your wishlist

I’m making this game solo, and every wishlist helps it show up higher in discovery and reach players who truly need it.

If the idea of light, cozy, lively language learning resonates with you — please wishlist the game. It really helps the project grow.

A free demo is coming soon so you can fully try the hidden-object and vocabulary mechanics.
