SURVIVE THE ASH

The ashlands never stop coming. Enemies swarm from every direction, elite waves crash in from the five-minute mark, and boss events test your build long before you feel ready. Survive by positioning, dashing at the right moment, and stacking upgrades until your screen fills with damage.

Each run is a fresh climb: collect XP, grow stronger, earn gold, and walk away with permanent progress — even when the horde finally catches you.

BUILD A DEADLY ARSENAL

Every run starts with your survivor's Signature Weapon — a unique attack with its own mechanics, visuals, and upgrade path. As you grow stronger during the run, you unlock two standard weapons (Bow, Magic Staff, or Throwing Swords) to complete your loadout.

Improve damage, attack speed, area, critical chance, survivability, and more. Stack the right upgrades and your standard weapons can evolve into powerful specializations — nine evolution paths across three weapon types, from elite-hunting bows to chain-lightning staves and blade storms that fill the arena.

Before each run, lock in one Weapon Modification per standard weapon — three permanent combat styles for Bow, Staff, and Swords that reshape how that weapon fights whenever it's in your loadout, from split arrows and forking lightning to orbiting blades.

Reroll bad offers. Lock the perfect pick. Banish what you never want to see again. Every level-up is a chance to reshape the run.

CHOOSE YOUR SURVIVOR

Play as 16 unlockable survivors, each with distinct stat modifiers, playstyles, and a signature weapon of their own — from Kael's movement-charged ash wave and Brakka's stored-damage shield slam to Nyra's shadow-echo daggers, Rook's dice volleys, and Cinder's low-HP burn frenzy.

Unlock new fighters by surviving longer, dealing massive damage, landing crits, dashing across the map, and mastering evolutions. Each survivor opens new strategies — tanks, crit hunters, glass cannons, bow specialists, staff casters, and blade dancers included.

Between runs, invest in permanent Training, a Skill Tree, Ashen Legacy, Weapon Mastery, Evolution Mastery, Relics, and account-wide Blacksmith gear to push every character further.

FORGE YOUR LEGACY — BLACKSMITH

Power isn't only built mid-run. Crack open Equipment Chests during a fight and haul loot back to the Blacksmith — a shared armory that equips every survivor.

Fill 6 slots across helmet, armor, pants, shoes, ring, and amulet. Hunt Common through Legendary rarities. Complete armor sets for bonus HP, damage, crit, speed, XP, and gold. Then push further:

• Forge matching copies to climb rarity tiers.

• Reroll affixes with gold when a piece is almost perfect.

• Stack Flat HP, Armor, crit, mobility, Phoenix Chance, and more into a loadout that carries across every run.

Your weapons change with the survivor. Your armor stays with you.

CLAIM THE ASHEN LEGACY

Beyond Training and Skills, Ashen Legacy is a second account-wide power tree — bought with gold, not skill points, and shared by every survivor.

Spend your way through 40 once-purchasable nodes across a core stem and five branches:

• Ember — offense and kill-tempo bursts

• Gale — movement, dash, and momentum

• Bastion — HP, armor, and comeback tools

• Fate — extra rerolls, locks, banishes, and upgrade luck

• Expedition — gold, map events, shrines, and Depth / risk rewards

Every purchase costs more than the last. Completing the full tree costs exactly 2,000,000 gold. Unlock the final node and, before each run, choose 1 of 3 random Legacy Boons — a run-long omen for damage, speed, elites, mobility, XP, gold, survivability, or aura power.

Your Skills spend character points. Your Legacy spends gold. Together they reshape every survivor you unlock.

WRAP YOURSELF IN POWER — AURAS

Before each run, choose 1 of 8 Auras — a separate layer of build identity that works with any survivor.

Slow and control the horde with Event Horizon and Tidal Aura. Chain damage through linked enemies, harvest souls for bursts, spread status effects on death, steal tempo from dense crowds, or embrace high-risk Blood Moon damage trades. Auras are always active around you — another reason no two runs feel the same.

PUSH DEEPER

Surviving is only the beginning.

Face increasingly dangerous enemy types — fast strikers, tanks, splitters, aura buffs, ranged archers, and Hellcasters that telegraph devastating meteor strikes you must dodge. Elite waves and boss events escalate the pressure. Optional Map Events send you after marked packs, corrupted caravans, treasure goblins, and mega-bosses for bonus gold and XP.

Tune difficulty before you even start with Ash Levels — a deep ladder of modifiers and rewards — and Run Mutators that crank elite pressure, boss counts, and risk for richer payouts.

Then, at Depth Gates, make the call that defines the run:

• Extract — bank everything and leave victorious.

• Descend Deeper — take a Depth Curse, face stronger enemies, and chase higher gold and XP multipliers.

Your safe gold is banked. Everything since the last gate is At Risk. Push one stage too far, and you keep only a fraction of it. The deeper you go, the more the ash demands in return.

GROW STRONGER BETWEEN RUNS

Every attempt feeds your long-term power.

• Training — permanent stat tracks for damage, vitality, pickup range, rerolls, Phoenix revive, Fate Sight, and more.

• Skill Tree — spend character XP across offensive, defensive, utility, and quality-of-life branches.

• Ashen Legacy — a 40-node gold tree (exactly 2,000,000 gold to complete) with Ember, Gale, Bastion, Fate, and Expedition branches — plus a run-start Legacy Boon at the capstone.

• 18 Relics — buy, upgrade, and equip passive bonuses that shape how you farm, fight, and survive.

• Blacksmith — equip account-wide armor and jewelry, forge rarity upgrades, and reroll affixes.

• Weapon & Evolution Mastery — permanently strengthen the weapons and paths you love most.

• Statistics & Run History — track lifetime progress across every survivor and every run.

Unlock new characters, relics, gear, upgrades, weapons, Ash Levels, and difficulty options. Experiment with combinations until you find the build that turns the ashlands into your playground.

Explore large arenas across multiple map themes — ash wastes, cursed forests, ruined landscapes, ritual grounds, and more.

Commune with Shrines for risky pacts: more gold, more damage, better upgrades — often at a real cost. Trigger Map Events for focused combat objectives and big payouts. Hunt Equipment Chests for Blacksmith loot. Watch elite and boss waves roll in on the minimap. Read the HUD, track your DPS by weapon, and adjust Run Speed mid-fight when you want the chaos faster — or slower.
