About the Game

The Last Credit

You were promised the best years of your life. What you got instead was a 9 AM lecture you can't afford to miss, a bank account that cries when you look at it, and a vending machine that just ate your last coin.

The Last Credit: Legend of the Broke is a 2D pixel-art game that captures the chaotic, sleep-deprived, instant-noodle-fueled reality of university life,, and turns it into a survival experience that hits uncomfortably close to home.

The Semester

Forget dragons and dark lords. Your real enemies are hunger, thirst, and a university registration system that seems specifically engineered to ruin your day. Keep your character fed, hydrated, and financially afloat while navigating the demands of academic life. Every decision costs something whether that's money, energy, or your last shred of sanity.

Signing up for exams, enrolling for courses sounds simple? It isn't. The university portal has other plans for you.

Save Your Progress

The game features a full save system, because unlike real university, here you actually get a second chance. Your hunger, thirst, money, and GPA are all preserved exactly as you left them for better or worse.

Art style

Rendered in a charming retro pixel-art style, The Last Credit wraps its very relatable suffering in a warm, colourful aesthetic that makes the existential dread go down a little easier.

Who Is This Game For?

  • Anyone who has ever refreshed a university portal 47 times in a row

  • Anyone who has eaten the same cheap meal three days in a row to make rent

  • Honestly? Everyone who went to university.
