Context
Within the domed city of a nearby future, Kai the bellhop rides the elevator of Arima Lodge, the hotel he works at, up from the ground floor to get a relief. However, after a secretive man rushes into the elevator and compels him to get to the 100th floor —the rooftop— instead, he starts to realize something very serious is amiss.
Gameplay
Arima Lodge is a free to play short 5-minute-long story with a locked camera that occurs completely within an elevator. It has limited dialogue options from the perspective of Kai the bellhop, and QTE events on screen to open and close the elevator doors whenever a new character enters.
