Are We in Love?

"Are We in Love?" is a dark, choice-driven visual novel that questions love and family. There are no butterflies in your stomach, only the harsh reality of a chemical sting in your nostrils and the acrid aftertaste of vodka. No common route. Fully branched story.

About the Game

Threatening to fill a bathtub with water and throw a toaster inside of it, you reluctantly agreed to run away from home with your half-sister.

Half-sister by technical definition, full-time enabler by choice.

Learned early that people discard what they no longer want, and to never forgive.

Kindness seeps away from a human as quickly as a fist lands on your face.

Will you be able to navigate all these human emotions, or will everything inevitably go to shit, as it always seems to do?

Features:

  • No common route, every choice leads to a unique adventure.

  • Multiple endings with dozens of meaningful choices and high replayability.

  • A story of family dysfunction and understanding of love.

  • Messed up characters, each with their unique brand of trauma and secrets.
