11 itemsAbout the Game

Aquora is a cozy pixel-art aquarium sim where genetics matter.
Each fish carries real inherited traits: body shape, fins, colors, patterns.
They pass down and remix with every clutch of eggs.
Over 400 quadrillion combinations of body, fin, color, and pattern genes exist, so no two fish need ever look alike.
Pair the right parents, keep them happy and fed, and watch what hatches.

Legends hide deep in the gene pool.
Celestial, abyssal, spectral, and rarer still.
Most breeders will never see one.
But when a mythic hatches, you'll know: it shimmers, burns, and glows with effects all its own.

Plant bushy ferns and tall waving kelp, sink a skull or an anchor, lay substrate and watch the light shafts play across it.
Your tank is simulated down to the pixel.
Eggs tumble and settle, worms wriggle across the sand, water bends the light.

Sell your surplus fish, reinvest in better filters, heaters, and autofeeders, and unlock equipment that keeps the hatchery running while you sleep.
With an autofeeder on the tank, Aquora keeps feeding, hatching, and breeding even when the game is closed.

Walk into town at dusk, cast a line at the river, browse the aquarium supply, or just watch the tank with the lights low and one of seven ambient tracks playing.
