Aquamorta

Aquamorta is a first-person horror adventure set in a swamp town that should be forgotten, where a community was twisted into hysteria by something ancient lurking beneath the surface. Your family left this place behind long ago, but the town keeps claiming them. When what seems like a family curse brings you to the swamp, you must navigate its poisoned waters to uncover what happened here and find a way to put things right.

Your only way through

The only way to navigate the swamp is the strange makeshift airboat your grandfather left behind. Along with the boat, he left you a journal explaining how to operate the machine and survive the swamp. Read his notes carefully and learn from his instructions as you venture deeper into the waterways. He also left behind a… mysterious chest he insisted was important. You’ll need to keep the airboat in working order as you travel, while its radio may occasionally pick up signals from somewhere in the swamp, offering clues about what lies ahead.

Fishing for blood

Your airboat does not run on fuel. It runs on blood. Fresh blood. So keep fishing if you want to keep moving. The engine is always hungry. The blood that keeps the airboat running also attracts unwanted creatures, so keeping it clean is essential.

Explore the swamp

The swamp is filled with abandoned homes, flooded buildings, caves, and other places left behind. Explore its waterways and search these decaying locations to find out what happened and what is missing.
