About the Game

Pic Talk Nonsense is a casual puzzle game built around the unique charm of Chinese homophonic wordplay.

In each level, you are presented with an image that looks absurd, surreal, or simply ridiculous at first glance. But every object, gesture, and visual combination in the scene may be part of the answer. By observing the details, breaking down the visual clues, and connecting them through Chinese homophones, puns, idioms, sayings, and internet slang, you must figure out the hidden phrase.

For example:

  • A wristwatch with a completely white face may hint at “confession”, because the Chinese words for “watch” and “confess” sound alike.

  • A paper deer wearing a saddle may point to “calling a deer a horse”, a classic Chinese idiom.

  • Worn-out clothes and torn pockets may hide an answer built from word associations tied to “clothes” and “pocket.”

There are no complicated controls and no stressful time limits. You can take your time to observe, think, and test your ideas.
