Young explorer Stepan Krasheninnikov receives his first independent assignment from the Academy of Sciences: to study a distant and almost unknown peninsula.
But the journey begins with disaster. The ship is wrecked off the coast of Kamchatka, and a scientific expedition turns into a struggle for survival — and later, into a dangerous political game where human lives and the future of the entire region are at stake.

Prepare for the Journey
Set out on expeditions by dog sled through forests, mountain passes, volcanic regions, and snowy wastelands. Before each journey, prepare carefully: choose your equipment, manage limited cargo space, watch the time of day, and decide how far you can travel before returning becomes too dangerous.
Explore Unknown Lands
Along the way, hunt, fish, discover landmarks, study new places, and encounter the unknown. The farther you travel, the more valuable your discoveries become — but every route demands caution.
Beware the Night
When darkness falls, Kamchatka becomes especially dangerous. Local spirits emerge at night, and an encounter with them can become a deadly threat. Harsh weather, wild animals, and supernatural forces can quickly turn a promising expedition into a fight for survival.
