“Snake Village：Sacrifice” is a mystery FMV game. Players must explore the game world and collect various items, with different collection combinations leading to a wide array of distinct endings. In the story, players take on the role of Lin Xi, daughter of the village chief of Snake Maiden Village. Before her 20th birthday, she must complete a life-or-death sacrificial ritual—offering up the heart of a truly evil person to break the curse of turning into a snake and retain her human form for eternity.
Story Background
Snake Village is hidden deep in the mountains. The women of the village carry the blood of the snake clan, and the clan abides by rigid rules: anyone who reaches the age of 20 must present the heart of a truly evil person to perform the Molting Sacrifice. Failure to do so will result in them transforming into a snake completely, never to regain human form again. Lin Xi, the village chief’s daughter, is soon to celebrate her 20th birthday. She has already sneaked into the city seventeen times to hunt for a qualified sacrifice, but each time she only found so-called "evil" impostors—their hearts were never accepted by the Snake Goddess. If she fails to find a valid offering within ten days, she will lose her human form forever.
