<STORY>
You, the player, are hired as a part-time assistant to music detective Hatcho Shirabe.
In a peaceful town where crime never seems to occur, Shirabe and his team work as detectives, doing a jack-of-all-trades kind of job. Recently, they've received a disturbing email.

A phantom thief calling himself Canon the Phantom Thief is coming to steal an ancient sheet music with 1,000 years of history stored at the Music Culture Museum.
You, along with Shirabe, the director, and your assistant, Ellen, head to the museum to protect the sheet music.

As an assistant to the detective Shirabe Hatcho, you unravel the music-related mysteries set by the phantom thief Canon, also known as the Phantom Thief.
