Synopsis

No winter lasts forever. Yet, that is no consolation. There are people who can only continue breathing by clinging to their pain.

High school student Haruto Tsukishima is continually tormented by his sense of guilt. It all began on that winter day when he hurt his precious childhood friend, Mio Yukimura. The sensation of pushing her onto the hard, icy ground still aches in his hands. He took everything from her. He ruined her life. Yet, he could never bring himself to confess the truth. He continued to lie, saying it was an accident, a "tragedy"—

One day, a voice calls out from behind him, "Could you please show me the way?" It was an encounter with a ghost. A miraculous recovery. Due to the shock of hitting her head, Mio had lost her memory.

"I must make her happy."
